The name Ian Giles is probably much better known in the world of motoring and Motor-sport than anywhere else.  I have been actively involved in these areas (amongst others) for all of my working life.  I have competed in most forms of motor-sport and all levels in rallying and was ‘works assisted’ in a Triumph TR7 V8 at the end of the seventies.  I did a lot of racing and rallying in Lotus-Cortinas, winning the prestigious ‘Coronation Rally’ outright in one of these superb beasts in the eighties.

I have sponsored and nurtured many other drivers who have gone on to bigger and better things such as Mark Lovell and Peter Davis, Terry Kaby & Brian Rainbow, David Appleby, Andy Miers, Tom Green, Bob Withers & Dave Whittock, Tim & Nick Porter, Rich Winters and more.

As well as a busy life in the motor-trade, Motor-Sport in general and rallying in particular, I have also bought, sold, raced and rallied classic cars for most of my adult life.  Certainly, since the early seventies.

I continue to do this in a small way and usually have some interesting classic cars that I may wish to sell (usually to fund more classic purchases!).  This website will feature these cars under ‘Classic Cars for sale’, together with the occasional ‘modern’.  Some will be in the UK, most  here in Spain.  These cars will have been bought by me, cleaned and fettled by me, driven by me and, in some cases, sold by me!  I am also happy to assist readers with classic car location and purchase here in southern Spain.

I am still active in classic car rallying here in Spain and compete on events that count for the Spanish or Andalucian championships.  I hope to bring news of these events in this section.

I am well versed, and well connected with, the property world, both here and in the UK , owning a number of properties in both countries.  My wife, Carol, is a director of a large, successful Spanish property company and we have helped a huge number of people, including many of our friends and family, find and secure properties here in Spain as well as occasionally in the UK.
